Roadside bomb explodes in Hawkes Bay area of Karachi

According to police, the miscreants were trying to target the SHO Mauripur.

KARACHI: A roadside bomb exploded in the Hawkes Bay area of Karachi on Monday, reported Express News. No casualties were reported in the incident.

According to police, the miscreants were trying to target the SHO Mauripur.

On Sunday, Karachi police had conducted two separate raids in Mauripur and apprehended street criminals as well as members of a gang. Some of the arrested suspects were leaders of their groups and were involved in several cases of street crimes, targeted killings, extortion and house robberies.

Members of banned outfits have frequently attacked law enforcement personnel in Karachi demanding release of their arrested accomplices.
