Mysterious death: Sugar mill manager found dead

HYDERABAD:

The manager of a sugar mill in Tando Allahyar was found dead on Monday in his office, within the jurisdiction of the Massan police station.

The victim, identified as 45-year-old Anwar Ali Rajput, was the deputy general manager at alAbbas Sugar Mill and hailed from Faisalabad.

He was living with his family in Satellite Town in Mirpurkhas.

SHO Ghulam Nabi Thaeem said that the victim was shot in the chest. He said that he would like to wait for the result of the investigation instead of speculating about why Rajput had died.

He added, however, that law enforcers are also looking into the possibility that Rajput killed himself.
