Sui gas supply : Project inaugurated in Jaranwala

A Sui gas supply project was inaugurated at NA-76, Jaranwala, on Saturday.

FAISALABAD: A Sui gas supply project was inaugurated at NA-76, Jaranwala, on Saturday. Dr Asim Hussain, Advisor to Prime Minister on Petroleum and Natural Resources, presided over the inaugural ceremony. The project will cost Rs543 million, of which Rs421 million has been provided by the federal government and the rest by some philanthropists. It will provide gas to more than one million people of 43 localities in the constituency. These include Jaranwala, Lundianwala, Jodhka, Rangpur, Chak 646-GB, Chak 647-GB, Chak 628-GB, Chak 631-GB and Chak 653/4-G. Federal Minister for Water and Power Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar was also present.
