Taken too seriously: Woman beaten up over children’s fight
A complaint was filed against the assailants by the woman’s husband.

A woman was beaten up by six people on Monday over a children’s fight. She was taken to a hospital, where doctors treating her said that she had several fractures in her right arm. A complaint was filed against the assailants by the woman’s husband. Police said that some children in a neighbourhood in Janewali village fought while playing in the street. Rukhsana Bibi, mother of one of the children, scolded the children and took her child home. She was stopped by the family of the children she had scolded and was beaten up. Witnesses said that four women and two men beat her up with batons. They abandoned her in the street, when she collapsed. She was taken to a hospital by some neighbours, where doctors said that her right arm had fractures at two points. An assault complaint was registered by her husband, who identified the assailants as Tariq, Khushi Muhammad, Sajida, Kiran, Aqsa and Hafizan.
