Targeted attack: Two policemen shot dead

HYDERABAD: Two policemen were shot dead by unknown men while they were manning a post in the Khanote area of Jamshoro on Saturday at around 3 am.

The constables, Abdul Majeed Pitafi and Sahib Khan Macchi, were each shot four times. According to SP Wasi Hyder Shah, the attackers took away the rifles and mobile phones as well.

The police have yet to ascertain the motive behind the killing. According to SHO Khanote Ghulam Qadir Shoro, the incident’s FIR is likely to be lodged after the burial.
