Business row: Alleged acid attacker handed to police

A case was registered against the three on a complaint filed by the family of the deceased.

GUJRANWALA: A court handed over a woman lawyer, accused of killing a business partner by throwing acid at him, to the police on a five-day remand. Girjakh Sub Inspector Taqi Shah said that Faiza Bibi had thrown acid at her business partner Naveed Akhter with help from Afzal and Azmat Chahal a Tuesday. Akhter had succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital. A case was registered against the three on a complaint filed by the family of the deceased. Police had arrested Faiza Bibi on Thursday. Her alleged accomplices are still at large. The police had sought a seven-day remand.
