Nawaz was speaking to media during a joint press conference with Pakistan Muslim League – Functional (PML-F) chief Pir Pagara and National Peoples Party (NPP) Chief Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi in Lahore on Friday.
PML-F and NPP chiefs visited Nawaz to condole the death of his brother.
Calling Sindh Local Government Ordinance 2012 an attempt to divide the province, Pir Pagara said PPP approved the system without keeping in mind the demands of the people of Sindh.
“PPP cannot make government in the centre nor in Punjab, K-P or Balochistan because of its poor performance; it will strive for Sindh but people of this province have seen it’s governance for last five years and we will work together to ensure they are not elected again,” he said.
Agreeing with the concerns raised by Pir Pagara, Nawaz said their coalition will not just benefit Sindh but the entire country.
Nawaz also accused Tahirul Qadri of forming an alliance with the PPP by agreeing to “Islamabad Long March Declaration.”

@Ch. Allah Daad: As the head of the largest province the present already belongs to PML-N and we can all see where they have taken us.
if u ppl want change vote for a party that hasnt been involved in govt, need to think above personal lines eg laptop. A country where millions are suffering in sindh and baluchistan even after pml-n prosperous rule we need and deserve something better .NZ wasted money on the new PM house at a time when ppl were crying for food. the CM , PM and Governor houses need to converted to university otherwise one laptop will serve only one person not the masses.
PTI chief is popular in youth of Sindh but he didnt spend much time in Sindh for strengthening his party. On contrary Mian MNS spent time in Sindh and he continuously raised his voice on Sindh's issues for example SPLG Bill, Flood rehabilitation and bad governance. To some extent, MNS has succeeded to make grounds in Sindh but he still needs alot of work. If PMLN continues serious efforts, Sindh can swing to PMLN in future. Sindh is yearning for change, a with pro-people policy, the PPP-MQM duo could be defeated.
Dear Sharif, unless elections are massively rigged (almost impossible) in your favour (highly unlikely), you are going to maintain your current position in Sindh - ZERO seats. Please go back to raiwind and do what you were doing before - have Nihari and lassi.
@Jibran: remember pre 1990s era when all the banks were running inefficiently as a government department, when there was not a single carpetted road in the whole country, when karachi and lahore airports were worse than railway stations, when listing in karachi stock exchange was a rare occurance, when there was no water sharing accord between the provinces and last but not the least when pakistan had never won the cricket world cup ;)
of course he is the leader with courage and vision and could get the country out prevailing crisis.

@Jibran:
Actually u trolls have become so much myopic......that u see wrong in everything else except yourself. But.....PTI (pity) for you.............you will keep on whinning and wouldnt be able to do anything. Nawaz Sharif has made himself the most acceptable leader for all people of pakistan and political groups, while arrogance of khan sb. has left him isolated.
Mukmuka
Mian Saab is the leader this country needs and deserves. Like my fellow friend mulazim from Raiwind palace, Ch. Allah Daad, under Mian Saab's visionary leadership we will take the country to greener pastures like the vast fields of Raiwind. Nawab bhai might be financially corrupt, morally bankrupt, and ethically disrupt, but he still holds the power to unlock this country's undiscovered potential. You will see in the upcoming elections. Mark our words!
The Dons of Raiwind have ruled 5-6 times in Punjab for a cumulative 15-20 years. If they haven't delivered in that duration, what can they deliver the next time?
The "Mayor of Lahore" has spent 80 billion on a single road in Lahore, 120 billion on two actually. This is twice the amount of entire South Punjab budget including flood relief! No wonder they want a separate province.
Secondly when Pervaiz Elahi left, Punjab had surplus budget and the development was visible from Lahore to Dera Ghazi Khan. Instead of wasting money on laptops, the same money could've been spent to provide primary schools & teachers to rural areas esp. in South Punjab. The beneficiaries would've been at least a hundred times more in number.
Thirdly, going back to The Mayor's son-in-law's case, how did he get charged for "jhagra"? The bakery boy did no jhagra but only his job. The appropriate FIR should've been registered for kidnapping and torture - which are unbailable offenses.
Lastly let's take Lahore's development into perspective. Mustafa Kamal did much more development with much less resources in Karachi. Many more bridges/underpasses and sanitation/water pipelines were built. He couldn't take the entire provincial budget for Karachi either yet there is no comparison in the work visible.
My appeal to all people of Punjab, please vote for change. My message for the Dons "You may fool some people all the time and all people some of the times, but you cannot fool all the people all the time."
@Ch. Allah Daad: I hope I could believe your rants. But the Sharifs of Raiwind have created a mess wherever and whenever they have come to power. Remember 1990s, when the news of poor people self immolating started showing up, while the Sharifs were skimming billions in commissions in Motorway, yellow CAB schemes, etc. Then came the 1998, when he laundered these billions out of the country, and leaving the poor people at the mercy of the sanctions. Even now most of the protests and anxiety of the masses are happening in the prosperous, and peaceful Punjab. Either we the Punjabis are always the whiners, or there is something terribly wrong with the good governance. I doubt a few laptops will suppress the anxiety of the ordinary people.
@A - No.1: It is their turn now.
Political speech to people who came over to pay condolence on his brother's death. Hats off to Nawaz Shareef !!
Future belongs to PML(N). This is the party which can take Pakistan towards prosperity, peace and respect.
Power at any cost?
status quo gathering under the umbrella of NS... try harder fellas its not going to be easy blocking change this time.
