LAHORE:

An additional district and sessions judge has directed the Kahna SHO to record the statement of a petitioner seeking an attempted rape case against his daughter’s father-in-law. The petitioner had submitted that his daughter got married in October 2011 but returned to his house a year later.

He said his daughter was depressed and told him that her father-in-law had tried to rape her. He said that he had approached Kahna police station to lodge a complaint, but the SHO refused to register a case.
