Formula One: Perez expects Sauber to do well

Perez came fairly close to winning a race himself last year, with a number of podium finishes.

New McLaren driver Sergio Perez thinks that his former team Sauber is capable of doing better than last year by winning races in 2013, according to Sky Sports. Perez, who is Lewis Hamilton’s replacement, came fairly close to winning a race himself last year, with a number of podium finishes. “Sauber will be strong again, I am convinced,” said the Mexican. “The rules are fairly stable, the Swiss team has understood its car well, so why should they be worse than 2012?
