This represented a sharp increase in sectarian killings in the city as only four people had died and three wounded during the third week of December.
According to the report, no incident of sectarian violence was reported from any other place across the country during the past week.
Target killings took 11 lives in Karachi during the same week, while one was injured in ethnic violence.
Among all cities, Karachi was reported to be the most violent during the fourth week of December with 33 lives snuffed out due to political violence.
Most of the violence-related incidents (27) were reported in Sindh, while no incident of political violence was reported in Punjab.
