Toxic liquor: One killed, another hospitalised
Muhammad Nawaz and Imran drank sub-standard liquor after which they both started vomiting and fainted.

A man died and another was taken to hospital on Saturday after drinking toxic liquor.
Jhang Bazaar police said that Muhammad Nawaz, a resident of Chak 230-RB, Baowala, and his friend Imran drank sub-standard liquor after which they both started vomiting and fainted.
They were at Nawaz’s house and were taken to Allied Hospital by his family. Nawaz was pronounced dead an hour later, while Imran was reported to be in critical condition. Doctors treating them said that they had apparently consumed toxic liquor.
