
Protestors, including men, women and children, have blocked the Zila Council Intersection.
Carrying banners and placards against alleged crime by the police, the protestors demanded a judicial inquiry into the incident.
Fourteen-year-old Ilyas and 18-year-old Asad, were allegedly gunned down by the Faisalabad police, two days ago.
The enraged crowd claims the boys were poor labourers, who were arrested to please a rival group. They were allegedly tortured in police custody to please the rival groups due to old enmities. When the boys had become unconscious, they were gunned down.
The protestors blame the police for torturing the boys and later killing them in a staged encounter.
Senior police officers have assured the protestors that due action will be taken against the guilty policemen.
The protestors clashed with the police, and police has tried to disperse the crowd by use of force and baton charge.
