KARACHI:

A man, who wanted to sell his kidney due to poverty, has been given a job in the Auqaf department.

A few days ago, Muhammad Pervaiz Meerani had come to the Sukkur Press Club finding buyers for one of his kidneys to make enough money to feed his seven children. MNA Faryal Talpur took notice of the news when it was telecasted on a private channel. On Monday, Sharmila Farooqui, a special assistant to the Sindh chief minister on media and Auqaf, called Meerani to her office.

She directed the Auqaf secretary to appoint the needy man as a clerk in the Sukkur department immediately.
