Disarmament board: Hoodbhoy appointed on UN body

UN Secretary-General recently appointed nine new members to his Advisory Board on Disarmament Matters.

Pervez Hoodbhoy a prominent Pakistani academic has been appointed on the United Nations (UN) advisory board a statement said on Saturday. The UN Secretary-General recently appointed nine new members to his Advisory Board on Disarmament Matters and they will begin their three-year terms on January 1, 2013. board members serve in their personal capacities and do not represent their governments.
