CDA had issued a rate list to vendors in the local market and weekly bazaars to facilitate the customers.
ISLAMABAD:
Despite the decrease in prices of fruits and vegetables, some vendors continue to overcharge customers in markets and weekly bazaars, it has been learnt. This has created problems for the grocery shoppers, who have demanded the concerned authorities to adopt a comprehensive plan and take appropriate measures to check and monitor the vendors. Meanwhile, the vendors have cited a shortage of commodities, saying they have no option but to overcharge the customers. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) had issued a rate list to vendors in the local market and weekly bazaars to facilitate the customers.
