Shabash pakistan: Challenging ‘all talk, no action’ norm

200 youngsters showed up with their work on plans based on the problems they identified earlier in the first step.

Shabash Pakistan step three at Air University Islamabad took off on Sunday with a review of the day-two “Leadership in Action” session. According to a press release from the organisers, 200 youngsters showed up with their work on plans based on the problems they identified earlier in the first step. This nation-building campaign started off through “Social Action Projects” by participants to grass root level where the real power lies, taking them to “Leadership in Action not position”. This was the final step of three step program. It started off with discussion with Project Leaders, about their experience during project activities. They talked about the difficulties they faced while making efforts to achieve their goals. Inspirational stories of legendary Pakistani’s were shared with participants “This created a sense of motivation and desire amongst them to do something for the sake of their society, said lead trainer Umair Jaliawala.
