VC denies irregularities at UoH

HARIPUR:

Following the emergence of alleged irregularities at the University of Haripur (UoH), Vice-Chancellor Shafiqur Rehman has said that all appointments, promotions and financial matters at the institution are conducted strictly in accordance with approved rules and regulations.

He maintained that every appointment and decision is made with the approval of the Selection Board and other competent forums, ensuring full merit and transparency.

The university's financial and administrative affairs, he added, operate under a regular system of audit and statutory oversight. He further said that any individual with reservations may seek redress through the university's formal appeal and review mechanisms.

It is pertinent to note that a group of faculty members has submitted a petition to the Chancellor and the K-P Chief Minister.
