The civic government raided a warehouse in Budhni on Friday and seized two containers of unhygienic chicken meat to be supplied to restaurants and wedding halls in Peshawar. The district government seized a van full of rotten chicken, after receiving information. An investigation was carried out, resulting in a group being caught who were bringing meat of dead chicken to Peshawar from Punjab. Peshawar DCO Javed Marwat said that further investigations were underway to find out where the meat was being supplied. The DCO also appealed to masses to share information regarding the illegal production of products in the city. Residents are advised to call 091-9212338 for information.
