Pindi blast: Hospitals put on high alert

All doctors at the hospital have been put on call, officials said.

ISLAMABAD: Hospitals in Islamabad and Rawalpindi were put on high alert on Thursday following the Wednesday’s night blast in Rawalpindi, official sources said. Officials at the hospitals said they are “well-equipped” with all necessary medicines, surgical equipment and blood reserves to handle an emergency over the next few days. All doctors at the hospital have been put on call, officials said.
