Balochistan violence: Four killed in separate incidents

QUETTA: At least four people were killed in separate incidents in Balochistan on Monday. Two people were gunned down in the province’s Chaghai district when an unknown assailant opened fire at a refugee camp. The deceased, identified as Nadir and Fateh Mohammad, were moved to the hospital. In another incident, unknown assailants shot Shamsullah, a coach cleaner, in the provincial capital, killing him on the spot. The motive behind the killing is unknown. Separately, a man was killed and two others were injured in Nushki when unidentified assailants opened fire on a gas tanker coming in from Iran. A Balochistan Levies official identified the deceased as Hameedullah and the injured as Samiullah and Muhammad Siddiq. Meanwhile, a bullet-riddled body was discovered in Turbat. Police identified the victim as Niaz Ahmed and shifted his body to the District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy. According to sources at the hospital, Niaz was shot in the head and chest.
