Karachi unrest: ‘Governor and CM should resign’
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen demands resignation in the wake of killings in Karachi.

Members of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) have asked Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah to resign because they have not been able to stop the killings in Karachi. The organisation’s secretary general, Allama Raja Jafari, said that the Sunni and Shia sects were on good terms and were not to be blamed for the killings. It is the responsibility of the government to trace the real culprits, he added.
