HYDERABAD: Federal minister for political affairs Maula Bux Chandio has said that the Supreme Court’s verdict in the Asghar Khan case has exposed Nawaz Sharif and several other politicians. He was speaking at the Hyderabad Press Club on Saturday. He demanded that the accused admit their mistake and apologise to the nation. The minister also alleged that the National Reconciliation Ordinance had been promulgated because Nawaz Sharif had signed an agreement with a dictator and then escaped from the country. The federal minister explained that the government had not taken any action against its opponents because “they will then claim that they are being victimised”. However, “the Supreme Court has authorised the Federal Investigation Agency to conduct a probe against politicians who received funds from ISI,” added Chandio.
