Ameeruddin college: Classes to start on Birdwood Road
The committee suggested that college should be shifted close to the Lahore General Hospital.

A committee on starting MBBS classes at the Ameeruddin Medical College has recommended that the building on the Birdwood Road, which is in the use of the Services Institute of Medical Sciences, be handed over to the administration of the Ameeruddin Medical College. Moreover, the under-construction building of the Bacteria laboratory on 3-Birdwood Road would be considered part of the college. The committee has recommended that a suitable building be acquired on rent for housing the college students near the college and a minimum amount be spent on its repair. The committee suggested that keeping in view the long and short-term requirements of the college, it should be shifted close to the Lahore General Hospital.
