Potatoes purchase: Two killed in vegetable market clash
FAISALABAD:
Two men were killed and four injured in a clash between rival parties at the vegetable market in Thikriwala police area on Friday. Police said two groups exchanged harsh words over the purchase of potatoes which had been brought from Chak 76-JB, Sadar. Both parties opened fire which resulted in the instant death of Idrees, son of Sardar Muhamamd, a resident of Chak 74-JB, Thikriwala. Munawwar Husain, son of Master Ghulam Nabi, and four passers by also received bullet injuries and were taken to hospital. Munawwar Hussain died on the way to hospital. The Thikriwala SHO said the bodies had been sent to the mortuary. He said no case had been registered so far.
