Karachi unrest case: SC orders police to take Taliban infiltration seriously
The full bench of the Supreme Court was hearing the case pertaining to the implementation of the court’s orders in the verdict given last year after it took suo motu notice of violence and unrest in the province.
The case was being heard in the Supreme Court’s Karachi Registry.
The eight-page long interim order on the two-week long case also ordered for action and initiation of operations against the illegal immigrants in the province.
The court also ordered IG Sindh to round up all suspects released on parole and to present them in court, and directed for police recruitment to be made transparent.
Earlier, IG Sindh had presented a report on 7,000 Taliban infiltrating Karachi after the court had ordered for it.

Why the Apex court not filed Suo Moto notice on military to explain its failure to stop killings thousands of innocent people at the hands of TTP and time bound plan to contain terrorism in the country ?

SC should issue orders which can be implemented. In the present circumstances, and present form of state of affairs in Karachi, it is hardly possible that Police can implement these orders. There we need angels to implement the orders. The same should have been cleared in the minds while checking the compliance of the SC orders issued last year. Is there any point which is fully coomplied/executed by the LEAs during last one year. It is beyond the capacity of our LEAs.
Just see the operation they started in Lyari and what happened to that. That incomplete operation boosted the morale of the criminals in Karachi, that state is nothing against them. They are more powerful than the state herself.
The Apex court takes notice of Taleban threat in Karachi and asks police to take action but keeps its eyes closed on killing of thirty five thousand innocent civilians by the TTP and fails to issue Suo Moto notice on military to explain its failure to stop the barbarities of Taleban for so many years and how it plans to tackle this menace threatening the sovereignty of the country in a fixed time frame.
