Chief Minister of Bihar due to visit Pakistan in November
Kumar due to land in Karachi before visiting Larkana, Islamabad and Lahore.
KARACHI:
Chief minister of the Indian state of Bihar Nitish Kumar along with some cabinet members is due to reach Karachi on November 9 for a week long visit of Pakistan.
Kumar is scheduled to meet with Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan, Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, key political and influential personalities and visit Mohatta Palace during his stay in Karachi.
Shah is due to receive the guests at the Karachi airport and hold a reception for his Indian counterpart.
Provincial Minister for Local Government, Agha Siraj Durrani, is due to accompany Kumar to Larkana where he would pay tribute to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto on November 11. The Bihar CM will also visit the archaeological sites of Mohenjo Daro and Sadhu Bela temple in Sukkar.
Kumar will leave for Islamabad on November 12 where he is expected to meet with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf.
Lahore will be the last leg of Kumar’s trip. He will reach the city on November 16. The Bihar CM, along with his entourage will return to India via the Wahgah border.
