‘Illegal Detention’: Case against PTI member, 6 others

FAISALABAD:
Madina Town police registered an FIR against seven people, including a Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf member Dr Asad Muazzam, for detaining a citizen illegally and beating him up. The FIR was registered on directions of an additional sessions judge on Bashir Ahmad’s petition. Ahmad said he had a monetary dispute with one Muhammad Ali Maqdoom. Maqdoom, he said, had stopped him a few days ago and taken him to Muazzam’s outhouse.
