Lahore-bound flight brings passengers, leaves luggage in Damam
The flight landed with a delay of four hours. When the passengers gathered to collect their belongings at the baggage collection counter, they were told that their baggage had accidentally been left behind.
The passengers staged a protest at the Allama Iqbal International Airport and complained that the crew members of Shaheen Airlines were not cooperating with them. The passengers further said that they were told to go back home and that they will be informed whenever their luggage is brought back.
However, the passengers protested how they could go back home without their belongings.

Actually they can seat you in Business Class if its not occupied. Its up to their discretion..
@Jibran: As i stated earlier, it was “empty” business class. Not a single passenger in the business class. I would have respected the exclusivity of the business class passenger had PIA been able to sell a single business class ticket on the flight. And it was baby i was requesting for, i sat in economy separately. Now someone will say why do i travel on Pakistani airlines? I ll answer in advance, because foreign airlines fly late nights and only PIA and Airblue usually fly in day light which is suites people like me coming to airport from a distance of 200-250kms
@sfdsinn: Brother, airlines usually are apologetic in this situation and upgrades are not uncommon. They had one bassinet in the whole plane. And i was very courteous with this fellow in his early 50s (who said himself that he is also grandfather) who should ideally have been retired by now from customer facing duties. On arrival (foreign) immigration guys spotted us with crying baby and they processed our documents on priority. and talking about business class, come on.... PIA’s A310’s business class is hardly a business class. On a separate note, somebody catch this cat in international departure lounge.
@roadkashehzada: The business class travelers pay not only for the comfort of travel but also for the exclusivity. You can't hop on a vacant seat nearby and create a scene there.
I dont think its obnoxious to ask for a place in business class on account of not disturbbing other passengers if the flight is 11 hours late! Its an impossible feat to keep a toddler/infant happy for 11 hours on account of the idiocity of airline. They did nt tell u that the plane would fly so late when they sold you that economy ticket, did they?

@roadkashehzada: What were you expecting them to do? I don't think the cabin crew have permission to give away business class seats on account of delay or whatever...you gave the poor gent or lady grief for no reason.
Passengers on our domestic airlines are often very obnoxious (and they become very well behaved on foreign airlines). Then they complain that the crew is rude.
nothing new. Airblue does the same frequently. Airblue was late by three hours last night for Dubai from Lahore. PIA was late by 11 hours for Dubai to Lahore. Had argument with their head purser over my infant son sleeping in empty business class and the head purser wanted to send him back to economy. i sent him to business class cause he was restless for 11 hours thanks to the late flight and crying alot disturbing other passengers. total disgrace in the name of service. shaheen, airblue, PIA one and the same thing
