Bad Scores: Exam body accused of discrimination
The students have demanded of the government to probe the issue and take the responsible officials to task.

Hazara-based candidates of a diploma course in medical technology have accused the Medical Faculty of Peshawar of discriminating against them on ethnic grounds.
They maintained that despite performing well, over 90 per cent Hazara-based candidates of a two-year diploma course of medical technology from the Paramedical Institute of Ayub Medical Complex have been deliberately given low marks by the Medical Faculty of Peshawar. They accused officials of the examination body of discriminating against them as they hold reservations against the Hazara movement.
The students have demanded of the government to probe the issue and take the responsible officials to task. An official of the health department confirmed that out of the 67 candidates, only two girls were declared successful and the rest of the candidates failed.
