Inaugurated: District jail hospital gets new block
The jail superintendent also briefed the law minister about jail management and steps taken to beef up security.
FAISALABAD:
An extension block of the Faisalabad district jail hospital was inaugurated by Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan on Monday. The extension project cost Rs2.5 million and raised the capacity of the hospital from 32 to 52 beds. Jail Superintendent Rana Razaullah Khan and Deputy Superintendent Malik Ata Muhammad were also present at the inaugural ceremony. The law minister said that the six-room hospital block would have an operation theatre, a clinical laboratory, and ultrasound and ECG facilities. A separate four-bed ward has also been reserved for patients of epidemic diseases, he said.
