SHERGARH: The widow of a schoolteacher, who was gunned down by unidentified assailants on Thursday, was killed in the Kati Garhi area of Mardan district on Friday. SHO Lund Khwar police Fazal Subhan said that on Thursday night, armed men asked schoolteacher Muhammad Ayaz to step out of his house and shot him. The next day, Esa Khan, a friend of the deceased, came to his house to pay condolence to his widow, Nazima, who accused Khan for her husband’s murder. Infuriated, Khan took out his pistol and opened fire on her, killing her on the spot before escaping.
