Taking oath: Justice Miftahuddin appointed acting CJ
CJ Khan will return next month.
PESHAWAR:
Justice Miftahuddin has taken oath as acting chief justice (CJ) of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) in the absence of PHC CJ Dost Muhammad Khan, who has left for Hajj. The oath taking ceremony was held at the PHC on Saturday where Justice Mian Fasihul Mulk administered the pledge. PHC judges, deputy attorney generals, deputy advocate generals, law officers and members of the PHC Bar Association were also present on the occasion. CJ Khan will return next month.
