Bakery beating: Elite Force men granted bail

LAHORE: Judicial Magistrate Sikandar Javed has granted after-arrest bail to seven Elite Force officials and a man believed to be a bodyguard of the chief minister’s son-in law. They are accused of beating up a bakery worker.  Zafar Hussain, the supposed bodyguard, Muhammad Riaz, Yousaf, Mohsin, Maqsood, Fareed, Nawab Din and Khalil Ahmed were released on bail at Rs40,000 each.  Television news channels have been airing footage of the eight men beating up Irfan, a worker at a bakery in Defence, shortly after he got into an argument with a female customer.
