Road accidents: One killed, six wounded

The first accident occurred near Nika Pah, some 6 km from the district headquarters.

HARIPUR: A man was killed while six others were wounded in two separate road accidents on Monday. The first accident occurred near Nika Pah, some 6 km from the district headquarters. Eyewitnesses and police said that a recklessly-driven military truck coming from Mansehra ran over a Suzuki Alto on GT Road, killing Muhammad Rafique of Mohalla Saeedabad Haripur. In the second incident, Muhammad Riaz, a teacher of Abbottabad Public School was on the way to Abbottabad with his wife and two minor children when his car collided head-on with another near  Paki Dohli on GT Road. Riaz, his wife Faiza and children were seriously wounded while from the other car, Saifur Rehman and Younas were also wounded.
