‘Gas leak’: 3 women injured in explosion

Injured have been taken to the Daska hospital where doctors treating them said they were in a critical condition.

SIALKOT:
Three women, including two sisters, were injured on Saturday in a gas cylinder explosion at Jaamkey Cheema village in Daska tehsil. According to Rescue 1122 officials, local trader Muhammad Azad’s wife Muqaddas Bibi, 38, and her cousins Hina Bibi, 18, and Mariyam Bibi, 14, were cooking in the kitchen when the gas cylinder exploded. Officials said they suspected that there was a leak. They have been taken to the Daska hospital where doctors treating them said they were in a critical condition.
