Firefight: Peace militia member dies in clash
Touheedul Islam peace militia claims to have killed 7 militants.

A senior member of Touheedul Islam (TI) peace militia was killed, while nine others were injured in a clash between peace militia members and militants of Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) on Sunday. Volunteers of the TI claimed to have killed seven militants, and captured one of them from the Mangal Bagh-led LI. A paramilitary official from the area said that militants attacked the TI members when they were on the way to supply rations in Zayodin and Bang Darra, adding that the volunteers repulsed the attack in which a senior member identified as Shah Gee Gul was killed while seven others were injured. The official added that the militants were repulsed while the injured were shifted to the hospital. The official also informed that TI claimed to be in possession of the bodies of the militants.
