The Koral SHO said the victims’ family did not lodge a complaint for criminal investigations into the incident.

ISLAMABAD:
A family dispute over land claimed four lives in two days as two groups of relatives clashed in the outskirts of the city. Two brothers were found dead on Service Road in Ghauri Town on Sunday. Quoting eyewitnesses, The Koral police said the two brothers were attacked by gunmen who escaped after killing them. Police shifted the bodies of Muhammad Daniyal and Muhammad Sheheryar to Pims, from where they were handed over to the family. The Koral SHO said the victims’ family did not lodge a complaint for criminal investigations into the incident, therefore no case could be registered. Police sources said the deaths were the result of a family feud over which the deceased family allegedly killed an opponent, Muhammad Zakir on Saturday. In return, Zakir’s family killed the father of the two brothers, Muhammad Mushtaq, on Saturday night before going on to kill them as well.
