Balochistan unrest: Journalist gunned down in Khuzdar

The general secretary of Khuzdar Press Club Abdul Haq was gunned down near Khuzdar Post Office in main Khuzdar city some 300 kilometres away from the provincial capital on Saturday.

The constable Abdul Hafiz of Khuzdar Police Station told The Express Tribune that unidentified armed men, riding on a motorbike with masks on their faces, sprayed a volley of bullets on Abdul Haq, the general secretary of Khuzdar Press Club. As a result, he breathed his last on the spot.

Abdul Haq was working with the Daily Tawar and ARY TV as a Khuzdar correspondent.
