Disciplined: Constable booked for protesting

Constable Abdullah held a protest at Fawara Chowk demanding action against the SHO of his designated police station.

ATTOCK:
The Attock police arrested a constable for holding a protest demonstration while in police uniform in Jhand Tehsil on Thursday. Injra Police Station Constable Ameer Abdullah was hauled into a van and put behind bars on the orders of Attock City Station House Officer (SHO) Muhammad Khan after Abdullah held a protest at Fawara Chowk demanding action against the SHO of his designated police station. Abdullah, who held a similar protest two days back, maintained that his fellow constables broke the locks of his quarters at the police station and when he asked his SHO to take action against them, the official turned down his request.
