Police encounter: Two ‘robbers’ shot dead, four flee
The suspects were stopped near Chak 94-WB, but they shot at the police, who shot back.

Police on Monday claimed to have shot dead two robbers. Police said six robbers had entered the house of Haji Nazeer Ahmad in Chak 94-WB at dawn and fled away with cash and gold jewellery. They said the police cordoned off the area after Ahmed informed them. The suspects were stopped near Chak 94-WB, but they shot at the police, who shot back. Two of them died on the spot and four escaped. Police said they found a rifle and a pistol on the deceased. District Police Office Ali Nasir has announced cash prizes for the police team. The deceased have yet to be identified.
