Sindh Education Department official shot dead in Karachi

Moin Khan was shot in the neck in the Pak Colony area of Karachi.

KARACHI: A senior official of the Sindh Education Department was shot dead on Tuesday by unknown armed men in the Pak Colony area of Karachi.

The official, Moin Khan, was shot in the neck when he was travelling in his official car. Khan was 47 years old.

Earlier this month, Interior Minister Rehman Malik stated that a total number of 1,363 people had lost their lives at the hands of target killers in the past five years in Karachi. Around 248 have been killed in 2012 so far.
