KARACHI: Mohammad Naeem struck a 74th-minute equaliser as ZTBL recorded a 1-1 draw against PAF in their Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match in Islamabad yesterday.

PAF took the lead in the 14th minute with Muhammad Arif finding the opening to give the hosts an early advantage. However, the goal was followed by an hour of play without fruit as both teams tried hard to find the net.

ZTBL’s Naeem then found the target in the 74th minute to help the PPFL debutants earn their first point in the tournament.

Naeem won the player-of-the-match award, pocketing Rs 2,500 prize money.

The draw meant PAF now sit in ninth place with four points in four matches, while ZTBL lie at the bottom of the 16-team table with one point after two games.
