National pride: Rousing welcome for Paralympics team
A reception was held at the airport to honour the players for their contribution at the sporting event.

Members of the Paralympics delegation were accorded a warm welcome upon landing at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Saturday. A reception was held at the airport to honour the players for their contribution at the sporting event. A bouquet was presented to all the 12 athletes, who returned back home from London at around 1:05 pm. Ali Haider, 28, who belongs to Gujranwala city and suffers from cerebral palsy, participated in the long jump and had clinched the silver medal, though he had broken the world record in the last Paralympics event. Naeem Masih, 25, who belongs to a remote village of Changa Manga in Pattoki, also participated in the long jump event.
