Fire safety: Inspections of workplaces sought
Faisalabad Division Commissioner says industrial units located in residential areas should also be identified.

Faisalabad Division Commissioner Tahir Hussain has directed tehsil administrations to carry out inspections of fire fighting arrangements at workplaces. He was speaking at a meeting on Friday. The commissioner asked officials concerned to review and update record of industries in their areas. He gave them a week to submit their reports to his office. He said industrial units located in residential areas should also be identified so that a strategy could be devised to deal with emergencies.
