The police team probing the murder of a nine-year-old girl, Shabnam, framed charges of terrorism against three boys accused of raping and killing the child. The team submitted its statement in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Mardan.
Shabnam went missing while she was on her way home from school on Monday, August 27. Her body, bearing marks of torture, was found in a cornfield near her house the next day. Lund Khwar SHO Fazal Subhan said that the accused were presented before Civil Judge Ijazul Haq, who sent them to Central Jail Mardan after they confessed to their crime. The autopsy reports were also presented to the court.
