LAHORE: The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested the chief executive officer (CEO) of a pharmaceutical company and recovered large amounts of Ephedrine, Express News reported on Sunday.

500kg ephedrine! The point is that person has obtained it illegally, most probably for drug trafficking reasons. What I find confusing is that now people might think that ephedrine equals drug traffic, even if producing ephedrine for common medicines is legal and normal for a pharmaceutical company in most countries. Again, due to a minority of persons, what could be a relief to millions of people is becoming a dangerous drug. It always amazes me how hard it is to build a better world, and how easy it is to make it worse...
