Rainy Season: Scattered showers lower temperature

The Met office said isolated showers will continue for around a week.

LAHORE: Scattered rain on Friday turned the weather pleasant. In some parts of city, the rainfall continued for over two hours. The Met office said isolated showers will continue for around a week. It said the temperatures would moderately increase for a few weeks after that before decreasing again. Northern Lahore witnessed heavier rainfall. At the Airport, the Met Office recorded 12 millimeters of rain while only a light drizzle was recorded at the Jail Road observatory. The maximum temperature was 35 degrees Celsuis on Friday and the relative humidity 74 percent.  Rain water drained out quickly from main roads. WASA officials their job was made easier by the streaky pattern of the rain.
