Both clans have been at war with each other for five years, when a man identified as Tajoo Narejo was killed by Kalhoro tribesmen. Tajoo’s murder triggered the enmity, which led the Narejo men to kill Abdul Sattar Kalhoro.

In retaliation, Kalhoro men killed another Narejo man.

Sources suspect that the Narejo men attacked the Kalhoro village to settle the score.
