Neglect: Five sanitary workers suspended

LAHORE: Five workers including a Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) zonal officer were suspended on Saturday for negligence. The orders were issued by the LWMC Managing Director Wasim Ajmal Chaudhry. During his visit to Ali Razaabad and Azeemabad, Ajmal expressed dissatisfaction with the cleanliness and ordered the immediate suspension of Zonal Officer Zaheeruddin Babar. He also suspended Union Council 5 Supervisor Amanat, Union Council 3 Supervisor Karamat, Union Council 1 Supervisor Zulfiqar Husain, and Union Council 1 Supervisor Rana Zulfiqar Ali for unsatisfactory performance. He also warned other workers against negligence.
