Crime: Cop kidnapped over money dispute
Police team had been sent to the scene and all major roads in the area cordoned off but the suspects managed to escape
FAISALABAD:
Gulberg police claimed on Saturday that the constable who went missing on Friday was kidnapped over a monetary dispute. They said initial investigations revealed that Constable Tabassum Abbass was abducted from near Nishat Cinema. They said Abbass had gone to the cinema to drop his wife Kanwal Shehzadi, who is a theatre actor. They said a police team had been sent to the scene and all major roads in the area cordoned off but the suspects managed to escape.
